Cooking my late October garden harvest.
I had some beefsteak tomatoes and mozzarella and a stir fry with fresh zucchini and peppers from my own garden plus onions and garlic.
It was a simple meal but very healthy.
Welcome to the second Off Grid Homestead Cooking video in my new cooking series.
I am no chef but I guess I can toss together a meal if I have to.
Based on popular demand, I am now making videos of my homestead cooking.
I sliced up the tomatoes and the mozzarella cheese and layered the two on a place.
Then put some vinegar, salt and pepper on top and left them to marinate in their juices.
Next I sliced up the zucchini, onions, garlic and pepper and simply cooked it up in my cast iron frying pan.
I added a bit of salt and pepper for flavor.
When it was nearly finished cooking I put in a bit of soy sauce.
This was a very fresh garden harvest meal and it was so good.
I cant believe how good it turned out for such a simple meal.
